Embark on a 9-day Himalayan adventure across Sikkim and North Bengal. Spend 2 nights in Gangtok exploring monasteries and viewpoints, 1 night in Lachen and 1 night in Lachung visiting sacred lakes and alpine valleys. Continue with 2 nights in Pelling for waterfalls and panoramic vistas, and conclude with 1 night in Darjeeling, enjoying tea gardens, colonial charm, and a sunrise over Kanchenjunga.
Arrive at NJP/Bagdogra and drive approximately 4 hours to Gangtok. Check into the hotel and relax. In the evening, explore the vibrant MG Marg, shop for handicrafts, Tibetan carpets, and local products, and enjoy local cuisines. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Gangtok.
Post breakfast, drive to the glacial Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft) and admire its serene beauty. Visit Baba Harbhajan Mandir at 13,200 ft and pay respects. Continue to Nathula Pass (14,140 ft) at the Indo-China border. Return to Gangtok for overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Lachen (9,400 ft). En route, witness Seven Sisters and Naga Waterfalls, Singhik Viewpoint with stunning views of Mt. Kanchenjunga and Mt. Siniolchu, and the River Teesta flowing alongside. Arrive in Lachen, check in at the hotel, and spend the night comfortably.
Begin early with a visit to the sacred Gurudongmar Lake (17,800 ft). Explore Chopta Valley’s scenic beauty and pass through Thangu Valley. Optional Kalapathar excursion offers stunning black rock cliffs against snow fields. After sightseeing, continue to Lachung and check in at the hotel for an overnight stay.
Post breakfast, visit the picturesque Yumthang Valley (11,800 ft) and enjoy rhododendron blooms. Stop at Yumthang Hot Springs for a relaxing soak. Optional excursions include Zero Point, Zero Point Hot Springs, Mount Katao, and Sangalpchu Lake. Return to Gangtok in the evening for overnight stay at the hotel.
Explore Pelling’s top attractions: Rabdentse Ruins, Pema Yangtse Monastery, Helipad Ground, Bird Sanctuary, Skywalk with Chenrezig Statue, Rimbi and Kanchenjunga Waterfalls, Rock Garden, Khecheopalri Lake, and Darap Valley. Enjoy scenic beauty, local culture, and photography opportunities. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Pelling.
After breakfast, drive to Darjeeling. Visit Batasia Loop, Ghoom Monastery, Japanese Temple, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tenzing Rock, Peace Pagoda, and Chitrey Tea Garden (outer view). In the evening, enjoy a leisurely stroll on Mall Road and Chowrasta. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport with fond memories of the scenic Sikkim and Darjeeling tour. Bid farewell to the Himalayan landscapes, taking back unforgettable experiences from Gangtok, Lachen, Lachung, Pelling, and Darjeeling.
